HPGL-Viewer
HPGLVIEW software is for visualisation of plot files in the HP-GL (Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language) and HP-GL/2 format. HPGLVIEW runs under Microsoft Windows. All Windows graphic systems and printers are supported.
Display and Zoom
The plot files are displyed on screen in the full resolution of the graphic system used. A zoom window can be marked with the left mouse button, the screen section can then be shifted with the cursor keys. The screen contents can be copied directly into a word-processing or DTP program via the Windows Clipboard.
Printing
The screen contents can be printed on any Windows configured printer. The zoom feature enables printout of screen sections.
Plotting
By diverting plot files to a serial or parallel interface, drawings can be printed on any HPGL compatible plotter. HPGL laser printers are also supported (printer language PCL 5). HPGLVIEW controls the switching from PCL to HPGL and back again.
Linking with Files
When starting up HPGLVIEW with the name of the HPGL file as a parameter, the plot file is automatically loaded and displayed on screen. Linking HPGLVIEW with files, for example with the extension PLT, enables you to click on a PLT file in the Windows File Manager, which then automatically loads HPGLVIEW and shows the required file as a drawing.
Paperless Office Application
All CAD drawings are available in the PC network as HPGL files (also suitable for heterogeneous CAD equipment, HPGL output is possible with any CAD system). HPGLVIEW displays the required drawing on screen. It is possible, as required, to print just a drawing section or have the whole drawing plotted.
Utilization as a Utility
You can use HPGLVIEW to display drawings and graphics on screen with programs you have written yourself using the feature for starting up the program with parameters.
Utilization as Plot Administrator
HPGLVIEW checks and sorts plot files, according to priority, before output to a plotter.
Hard and Software Requirements
HPGLVIEW runs on any PC with MS Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 or Windows NT with at least 4 MB main memory. A network license is required for installation in a network.

3.5" disk with HPGLVIEW, program description, sample data. License agreement for indefinite period of time.
